Turning is a manufacturing method used where the stock block is rotating against a tool whose position is controlled. A useful method for fabricating parts that have a circular cross-section. Turning operations are performed on a lathe.
CNC TURNING
CNC turning is the same operation as turning where the tool is controlled by a computer numerical control. More complex shapes can be machined such as conical, curved or, grooved. Another feature of CNC turning is the automatic tool change and variable feed/spindle rates. Our shop is capable of producing more complex parts with a circular cross-section.
